Might be a latent bug elsewhere. Reload is a very sensitive beast :-)

Thanks. It passed the failure point of the previous one and I was able to 
complete a C-only bootstrap on sparc-sun-solaris2.8.

Oh! I wasn't trying to lure you into dancing with those dinosaurs :-) Simply 
bootstrapping such hot patches on a CISC and a RISC platform could be 
nice.
