Huh? This doesn't make any sense at all. When, exactly,
are argument areas "shared" between caller and callee?
Well there *was* a test cases posted along with the change ...
It was made to fix that bug and it did.
I've CC'ed Olivier who did the debugging here and I hope he can say more.
