I appreciate the work you're putting in, and the improvements you're
making.

Despite that, you have to play by the same rules as everyone else.

"Obvious" patches do not need approval, but obvious patches do not
include substantial reorganizations of the front end.

I know it's frustrating that things take a while to get dealt with, but
we are simply not going to have patches going in without review.
