Hmm, we actually had the www.gnu.org addresses because RMS requested
this during the egcs/gcc->GCC merger.
In the meantime the situation may have changed (and one or two years
ago RMS kind of approved using gcc.gnu.org in a more official sense),
but I thought I'd least relay _why_ the situation was as you found it.
