You haven't explained why there is a problem in the FSF tree that this
change is relevant for. References to cp-parse.in are completely
irrelevant to the FSF tree since the old C++ parser is dead.
contribute.html says:
If you do not receive a response to a patch that you have submitted
within a month or so, it may be a good idea to chase it by sending a
follow-up email to gcc-patches at gcc dot gnu dot org dot
Although I've suggested in the past that a week might be more appropriate
than a month, three days is a bit too short. And this isn't an ignored
patch; you have received a response which hasn't been properly addressed.
The patch still looks like gratuitous fiddling with code that's intended
to be replaced that doesn't fix a bug, add a feature or help towards
making a replacement parser simpler to drop in.
