This, I think, would be less controversial.
But, it will controversial for me on another list :-)
I'm with Zack on this: I'm not a fan of these endless switches to
fine-tune the warnings. Someone should come up with a plan to
solve the problem once and for all.
We will have to decide internally here, whether we want to
add another warning switch in FSF with different name than
local one. Because, it would still mean we will have
one local patch to take care of (and original intention to
add this in FSF is to get rid of that patch)
