Just to make sure: I'm not opposed to the change to gcc.c in any way,
I just must not approve this kind of change (cf. gcc/MAINTAINERS).

That's usually a good idea, yes, unless there are trivial fixes like
a missing comma or so which were spotted by a reviewer.
