I agree. Would you care to make that change on the mainline?
No, because at the moment it's still needed. My point is just that I'm
wondering if some other mechanism might be more appropriate, but I'm not
ready to suggest it yet since I'm not sure what it might be.
This whole area is very tricky. There are a few things I want to clean up
first that may make this issue a little easier.
