I've finally done that; it looked ok to me (beware of the XHTML
ignorant) so I applied it and nothing bad seemed to happen.
I've also tweaked some htdig parameters to quote parameters and
that <img ...> -> <img ... /> transformation in the patch.
Unfortunately, there are lots and lots other things that need
fixing for XHTML compliance, says the w3 validator, hardcoded
into htdig (really htsearch). Fixing those requires patching
htdig. Not on the top of my list today.
