Well, for the time being, just put the line back in x-vms. I am not
in a position to commit anything right now, or I'd back the patch out
for you.
I suppose there are two related questions to be answered:
- What is it that collect2 still does when use_collect2 is off in
config.gcc for a target triple, and is that useful on VMS?
- What currently prevents collect2 from being built on VMS?
