This is wrong. That entry refers to problems building GCC, not problems
building glibc. GCC 3.0 builds fine on systems with glibc 2.2 (and I
think 2.1 - I don't know whether glibc 2.0 or libc5 systems are currently
supported), but can't be used to build glibc itself.
We do need tested, working patches against 2.95.3 to build glibc available
from the web pages. They also need to go on the 2.95 branch.
