Well, kind of overloaded (and not feeling comfortable doing release
pages anyway, as this requires more of the kind of knowledge that you
have). ;-)
I'm trying to help wherever I can, though.

Yes, I think that's a good plan.
The old-style release pages had some benefits, but they also were rather
redundant (and probably confusing for some folks), plus having just one
page should be easier to maintain.

PS: Where do we want to add the list of "release procedure" notes that
the two of us briefly discussed some time ago and Joseph mentioned this
week? To the web or the gcc CVS module (as plain text)? I'll help working
on them then...
