Since this patch has been installed in libtool mainline, feel free to
check it in the GCC 3.0 branch and mainline. When you do so, please
change VERSION to 1.4a-GCC3.0 and add `with GCC-local changes' to
TIMESTAMP in both ltconfig and ltmain.sh, unless Michael beats you to
it. Consider the corresponding changes in ltcf-*.sh, as installed in
the libtool CVS tree, pre-approved.
