Because they're just minor patches that only fix bugs.

Offhand, I recall problems on hppa-linux and aix.  The patch was
mostly straightforward, anyway; far simpler than I had thought at
first.  As usual, it's big, because it modifies generated files, but
it didn't change much in the generic code.  Far less than I had
thought at first, in fact.
