Yeah, that looks right.  OK for head and branch.  Thanks!

For the "regenerated" bit, though, could you hand-patch configure if
it turns out that the "regenerated" file's diff is huge?  Such a
change in configure.in should result in exactly the corresponding
change in configure, but if you have a different version of autoconf
you'll get other changes as well, and I'd rather avoid that,
especially in the branch.  The less changed the better, and use "cvs
diff" to verify that.
