Hardly. :-( I tried a binary search in the CVS tree, but four (or five)
out of four (or five) attempts to build an older version failed due to
various problems.
Our tree has been way too instable recently.
However, I realized that the bug seems to occur on "all" platforms, just
by invoking g++ -O1; the testcase is to large to send to the lists, but I
put it up at <http://www.dbai.tuwien.ac.at/~pfeifer/tmp/generate.ii.gz>.
