I've posted a patch a week ago that handles version skew correctly,
by making sure both c-parse.c and objc-parse.c get regenerated at the
same time... the only drawback being that the objc parser ends up
being in the C directory (which is a very minor drawback in my opinion).
So far, it looks like nobody has even looked at this patch.
It needs some minor tweaks to work with a src/build environment now that
those files are no longer in the repository, but I am sure you're up to it.
