I had to install elfutils as Systemtap requires it.
This is what I see from the help of nm (elfutils) ...
% nm --help | grep -e "\-p" -e "\-g"
-g, --extern-only Display only external symbols
-s, --print-armap Include index for symbols from archive members
-A, --print-file-name Print name of the input file before every symbol
-P, --portability Same as --format=posix
-S, --print-size Print size of defined symbols
-p, --no-sort Do not sort the symbols
Is this the information that you needed / you want me to run any other
specific command with elfutils nm to see the output?
Thanks,
Kalai
