Dear Sir or Madam,
i have downloaded the package: gcc-hppa-4.6.0.depot.gz??????????????? (http://h21007.www2.hp.com/portal/site/dspp/menuitem.863c3e4cbcdc3f3515b49c108973a801/?ciid=2a08725cc2f02110725cc2f02110275d6e10RCRD?????? )
Reading the help above i noticed that the GNU binutils package is bundled in this GCC package.
When i started the test,? compiling a simple "Hello World" example, i'm getting the following error:
???????????????
??????????????? root@HPUX1111 test# gcc test.c
??????????????? /usr/ccs/bin/ld: main: No such file: No such file or directory
??????????????? collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
ld is a part of the binutils, but i was not installed with the gcc-hppa-4.6.0.depot package.
ld was installed with a seperate package i found in the world wide web (binutils_2.15a_hppa-hp-hpux11.11_depot). Maybe it doesn´t match with gcc 4.6.0.
Where can i find the ld matching gcc 4.6.0?
Can you help me?
