cross compiling for new system.

- Subject: cross compiling for new system.
I have gcc-4.6.0 and binutils-2.21. I have cross compiled binutils but
have the code for my architecture present. The thing is I can't get the
compiler to find this new runtime linker. Are there special environment
variables or switches that I would need to use the new ld, as, and ranlib?
