If I change the line: /home/krud/work/gcc-4.5.3/build_linux_again/./gcc/xgcc ..... ./libgcc_s.so to gcc ..... ./libgcc_s.so

the libgcc_s.so is linked.

That's not what I asked.


(note that an ubuntu forum might have people more knowledgeable about the recent changes in ubuntu)
