Using GCC and GCov with coldfire V2 chips

Greetings,
I have been trying to determine whether GCC and GCov support the ColdFire V2
chips.? In the release notes for GCC 4.4, I see the following line, "GCC now
supports instruction scheduling for ColdFire V1, V3 and V4 processors.
(Scheduling support for ColdFire V2 processors was added in GCC 4.3.)"? What
does this mean?
