Hang Error In gcc-4.0.4

Subject: Hang Error In gcc-4.0.4

Gentle People:

  I get the following hang condition while attempting to make
gcc-4.0.4 on my Solaris 8 Sparc machine. What is the best fix?

"perl /export/home/tools/gcc/gcc-4.0.4/fastjar/../contrib/texi2pod.pl -D fastjar > fastjar.pod"
