Subject: ***error 2

    What does ***error 2 mean? I am compiling gcc-3.4.6 core on a i686
machine for a pdp11. The only conf option I used was --target=pdp11 and then
ran a make. The compilation broke with this error reading. How can I compile
a C compiler for a pdp-11?
