Problem configuring gcc 4.0.0

Subject: Problem configuring gcc 4.0.0

I get this message when I try to configure gcc 4.0.0:

*** This configuration is not supported in the following subdirectories:
     target-libgfortran
    (Any other directories should still work fine.)

What's wrong?
