I'm trying to compile gcc, and I'm getting the
following error:
cp ./libgnuintl.h libintl.h
cc -c -g -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. bindtextdom.c
ucbcc: Warning: Option
-YP,:/usr/ucblib:/Sun_Studio/SUNWspro10/SUNWspro/prod/bin/../lib:/Sun_Studio/SUNWspro10/SUNWspro/prod/bin:/usr/ccs/lib:/usr/lib
passed to ld, if ld is invoked, ignored otherwise
unknown flag -destination_ir=yabe
"./libgnuintl.h", line 301:
libintl_set_relocation_prefix: macro recursion
"./gmo.h", line 54: Illegal number 4294967295U
*** Error code 2

`bindtextdom.o'
Current working directory
/u01/xps/home/ehillman/gcc-3.4.3/intl
*** Error code 1

`all-intl'
I've attempted to configure into a different directory
than where the source is (src is in ~/gcc-3.3.3, ran
configuration with --prefix=~/gccBuild), and I'm
simply trying to run make bootstrap.
I don't really know what to check for, as I've never
built gcc before. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Ed
