| First, thanks for gcc. I really like the (relatively) new model of
| regular releases every 6 months or so. It has really kept the stream
| of new releases coming pretty steadily.
|
| I've noticed a couple of issues with the gcc-3.3.3 release; I couldn't
| find them covered on the website - if I missed them, please let me
| know.
|
| First, there does not seem to be a g++ tarball. At first I had
| assumed that g++ had merely been rolled into the core, but that didn't
| appear to be so.
That is odd: it is present on ftp://gcc.gnu.org and any site
mirrored from that. I checked on ftp://ftp.gnu.org and it is indeed
missing. It should be an error from the ftp-upload script part -- 96
files were uploaded :-)
That should be fixed anythime now.
| Second, where is the key used to sign the tarballs available? I
http://gdr.nerim.net/dsa.txt
| queried pgp.mit.edu, www.keyserver.net, wwwkeys.us.pgp.net and
| wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net and I could not find the public key.
Thanks for your report.
