hi,
I learned c mostly out of kernigan and ritchie.
but almost any example code from it seems to be a DON'T.
when I for example want to write a commando interface, you guys as
well as some other lists would probably say 'oh no, don't use
getchar() use xxx instead it's more safe'.
what I want to find is a book/site that will issue the common examples
in a secure and effective version. explaining why to use some function
and why to avoid others.
do you happen to know such a book/site?
gruss
