Gcc-3.2.2 build error: (libiberty.a needed by gengenrtl)

Hi,

I am trying to compile gcc-3.2.2 on my Pentium 4 Linux machine (2.5.66)
which has a gcc-2.95.3 version.

I configured it using the following options:

-->gcc/configure = --enable-threads --enable-languages=c,c++

When I do a make it stops with the following message.
 -->make bootstrap
......

Make[1]: ***No rule to make target '../libiberty/libiberty.a', needed by
gengenrtl'. Stop.
Make: ***[stage1_build] Error 2

I don't understand why I am getting this.

Can someone help me out of this?
Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Syam
