No, they are one and the same:

lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           13 Jun 27 08:24 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.2.5.so

(The previous libc, libc.so.5, was derived from glibc-1.0... hence the
current rather confusing situation.)
