Hi All
Can anyone help with configuring GCC for Windows ?
In cygwin shell I type
/cygdrive/c/scrdir/configure --prefix=/mygcc --enable-threads=win32
--with-system-zlib --enable-languages=c,c++,f77 --enable-sjlj-exceptions
(recommended by Wayne)
After about three minutes work the following error message arrives
...
checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... eval1: syntax error: unterminated
quoted string
configure in /cygdrive/c/objdir/zlib failed, exiting.
Been on this problem for 20 hours now and am getting rather concerned that
I must be stupider than everyone thinks....
Please, please, please...
