- Subject: Need help !!! SCO 3.2v5.0.6 with gcc 2.95.2 with -g (core dump)
If we compile our software with -g (debug option), the program ends with a
core dump.
We use following OS and compiler:
SCO OpenServer 3.2v5.0.6
SCO UNIX Development System Release 5.1.2A 27Jul00
gcc version 2.95.2 19991024
Without -g, everything wotks well !!
We saw that if we have following configuration:
SCO OpenServer 3.2v5.0.6
SCO UNIX Development System Release 5.0.0a 16Mar95
gcc version 2.95.2 19991024
everything works well with or without debug option (-g)
Why ? What is the difference ?
Which package is compatible with which package?
Thanks for your help.
Regards JP
