gcc 3.0.1 and glibc 2.2.4

Hi,

I've read some documentation somewhere in the depths of the gcc site (I think
it was in caveats) that told me that compiling glibc 2.2.3 with gcc 3.0 would
yield a binary incompatible library (a Bad Thing(tm)).

The caveat, IIRC, said to wait for glibc 2.2.4

Is this problem resolved with gcc 3.0.1/glibc 2.2.4? The caveat seems to have
been removed, but I can find no definitive answer to say this combination is
now safe.

Cheers

Stef
