Problem with compiling egcs-1.1.2 with glibc-2.2.2

Hi, all,
I have trouble to compile egcs-1.1.2 in my Red Hat 7.1 box with
kernel-2.4.2-2, glibc-2.2.2, gcc-2.96.
After I did the following configurations:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/egcs-1.1.2 --enable-threads
--enable-version-specific-runtime-libs --enable-shared
I did a "make bootstrap", then, during the compilation, the following
error appears:
