The reason I have to use cygwin in the first place is because the Linux
machine I was using before is now decommissioned, and I don't have ready
access to a Linux box.
So I'm not so keen on this idea; I've never built a Canadian cross before,
and I really doubt I will be able to get it to work; I'm not a gcc expert.
Backing up and reformatting a PC, installing and configuring Linux, and
then struggling with the build process doesn't sound like a fun plan to me.
(Plus having to restore the PC afterwards). I would have to start doing it
on a Friday evening, and if I didn't have it completed by the Monday I'd
have to blow everything away and lose whatever I'd finished.
Anyway, building for the native environment _ought_ to work! :)
