Help with Install GEC

Title: Fiesta

Please I am new to compiling and installing GNU software.

I have just downloaded the GEC-2.95.3-sol7, it is now in the unziped format. it is only one file.

I have tried to use pkgadd to install it on a Unix solaris 2.7 machine but it is not a pkg type. I am not sure weather to use './' to install it.

Please could help me on how to do this.
