Cross building 2.7.2.3 under Cygwin

Hi,

The configure files for 2.7.2.3 can't match my 'i686-cygwin-pc'
machine type of cygwin when trying to build the m68k-coff target.
Hence a makefile gets generated which uses 'cc' as the compiler
rather than 'gcc' (even when an environment variable CC=gcc is set).

Are there patches to the configure script (and config.guess?) to
get the build working properly, or are there extra paramaters I
can pass to configure to get it to use the gcc (2.95.2-3) supplied
with cygwin?

Many thanks,

Mark
