I wrote a few days ago about getting GCC to compile on my system.
Unfortunately, the problem hasn't been resolved. I tried again, deleting
all previous attempts and starting from scratch, this time logging
everything to a file. I've provided that file now, edited down to only
show an error elsewhere in the compilation that might be a problem area,
and the final stage in which the process failed. I hope this is
something that can be worked with.
BTW, sorry to sound as if I'm flooding the list with too many messages.
I've just been trying to provide information that might be useful in
resolving this problem.
