Hi,
I downloaded the compiled version of gcc-2.8.1 for Sparc Solaris 7, I
used pkgadd -d to install it in the /usr/local directory.
When I try to compile any other software I get this error:
checking for gcc... gcc
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler
cannot create executables.
Why is this happenning? do I have to include some file in another
directory or set environment variables for this to work?
Thanks a lot,
Freddy Esqueda
