configure ?

Hi. I put gcc-g++-2_95_1.tar in empty directory E:\srcdir. Ran tar. There are
now several directories underneath srcdir, but there is nothing in srcdir that
can respond to the command "E:\srcdir\configure" (from E:\objdir). Except maybe
".brik" ? Maybe if "configure" were a dos command, but I don't think so.

What is the proper "CC" to put into environment? CC=E:\user\bin ?

Is it necessary (proper? best?) to shut down Pentium/Windows, restart it in DOS
mode?

Thanks, WKR
