[Bug c++/83414] New: Successive calls to "new" return the same pointer

https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=83414

            Bug ID: 83414
           Summary: Successive calls to "new" return the same pointer
           Product: gcc
           Version: unknown
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: c++
          Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
          Reporter: pmsf at ufc dot br
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 42875
  --> https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=42875&action=edit
The preprocessed C++ input file (<iostream>, <new> and <fstream> included).

The attached program calls "new" twice and never delete's the pointers
received.
The first call allocates an array of struct's,
and the second call allocates a single struct.
The problem is that both calls return the same pointer!

Here is a sample output of the program,
showing that the two pointers received have the same value:
---------------------------------------
o.v:    0x1395c20
p.node: 0x1395c20
---------------------------------------

Please note that the attached program is a much stripped version of the
original
program with which I had problems. I reduced the program as much as I could,
leading to the attached file, which does not make much sense as a program but
which clearly shows the error.

Detailed data about my environment follow below.
