Shell script used to extract tar ball, obtain pre-reqs, configure and run gcc
build

Attempting as non-clever a build of 4.8.4 as possible.  Same behavior with
binutils 2.19.1 or 2.25.   Prerequisites obtained w/"download_prerequisites"
script (MPFR 2.4.2, GMP 4.3.2 and MPC 0.8.1).   Ordinary linux machine:
