This test fails for me on ubuntu 10.04.4 with as:
...
GNU assembler (GNU Binutils for Ubuntu) 2.20.1-system.20100303
...

It passes for me on ubuntu 14.04.2 with as:
...
GNU assembler (GNU Binutils for Ubuntu) 2.24
...

The generated .s file is the same for both systems.

Fail for same test-case mentioned in
https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2015-04/msg02807.html .
