AFAICT the only remaining issue is the test in comment #22
print "(RU,F7.0)", 7500.0 ! 8. expected 7500.
print "(RD,F7.0)", -7500.0 ! -8. expected -7500.
which gives
7501.
-7501.
with 4.6 and
8.
-8.
with 4.7 and above.
