I can reproduce the ICE with gcc 4.4.7, 4.5.3, 4.6.3, 4.7.0, and 4.8-20120408,
built as crosses to ppc-linux hosted on i686-linux. gcc 4.1.2, 4.2.4, and
4.3.6 don't ICE.
