--- Comment #9 from Dominique d'Humieres <dominiq at lps dot ens.fr> 2011-09-16 14:41:19 UTC ---
I have done a clean bootstrap of powerpc-apple-darwin9 and
x86_64-apple-darwin10 with the patch in comment #5 with all languages except
go.
I have posted the results of the tests at
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2011-09/msg01559.html
and http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2011-09/msg01560.html
to be compared to the results posted at
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2011-09/msg01360.html
and http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-testresults/2011-09/msg01357.html .
On powerpc-apple-darwin9 all the 22_locale/* failures are fixed without
regression. On x86_64-apple-darwin10 there are two unrelated regressions
(pr50433 and pr50435 that are still there if the patch is reverted).
To be on the safe side it would be nice to do the same tests on
powerpc*-linux-* (and to answer the questions in comment #6;-).
Thanks for the patch.
