[Bug c++/49406] Inlining in inheritance seems broken

http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=49406

Jonathan Wakely <redi at gcc dot gnu.org> changed:

           What |Removed |Added
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
             Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED
         Resolution| |INVALID

--- Comment #10 from Jonathan Wakely <redi at gcc dot gnu.org> 2011-06-14 18:39:55 UTC ---
the usual way to do that is to define the inline function in a header (e.g.
Base.h would be the obvious place)

it cannot be inlined in Derived.c++ if its definition is not included in that
file
