FYI, this PR apparently causes all of the remaining Polyhedron 2005 benchmark
compile failures when building with gcc 4.5.2 using the current dragonegg 2.8
plugin...

While fixing this PR might not be particularly helpful in stock gcc trunk, it
would greatly enhance dragonegg's usefulness under the same.
