[Bug bootstrap/38728] gcc 4.4.0 20090104 - "make install" is relinking `libgij.la'

Thanks for looking at this.

I was only pointing out that _everything_ _else_ worked "as-is" and
only the _one_ _file_ needed to be re-linked during installation.

I'll leave this 'oddity' as "RESOLVED INVALID".
