[Bug middle-end/31309] 6 byte assignment at end of structure reads/writes past end of structure causing SEGV when that memory is not accessable.

I see that this bug fix is targetted for 4.1.3, but also see that such a
release isn't planned:

should the target release for this bug be updated to 4.2 or 4.3?
